What is Delta 10 THC?

Delta-10-THC, Δ10-THC, is short for Delta-10-Tetrahydrocannabinol – a cannabinoid found in rare trace amounts in the cannabis plant.

Delta-9 THC is the cannabinoid found in Marijuana (aka pot or weed) that we all love. Delta-9 THC is the main component that gets people high when smoking pot.

In recent years delta-8 and Delta-10, cannabinoids similar to delta-9 with a little less potency, have become popular alternatives to traditional Delta-9 THC.

Delta-10 THC is similar to Delta-8. Both are cannabinoids found in cannabis plants. Delta-10 THC is commonly found as an impurity in synthetic delta-8-THC produced from cannabidiol of hemp plants. It can be synthesized directly from delta-9-THC as well.

Delta 10, like Delta 8 THC, produces a mild to moderate “high” like feeling similar to the effects of Delta 9 THC, however is slightly less potent than traditional Delta 9 is.
